Tucked into the mountains outside Anaconda, Montana, Gunslinger Gulch is a one-of-a-kind Old West destination spread across 52 acres with 17 buildings, wide-open Montana scenery, and plenty of stories waiting to be discovered.

This isn’t a modern resort made to look Western. Some of our buildings date back as far as 1854!

Gunslinger Gulch is a place where weathered buildings, log cabins, horses, mountain views and pieces of Montana’s past come together to create an experience you simply can’t get from an ordinary hotel.

Some guests come to relax for a few days. Others arrive with horses, investigate after dark, attend one of our immersive events, celebrate a special occasion or gather an entire group for a weekend at the Gulch.

However you arrive, our goal is simple: give you a reason to unplug from the ordinary and experience something memorable.

Horses are a big part of life at Gunslinger Gulch.

Our property offers numerous paddocks, room for trucks and horse trailers, onsite water, a round pen and access to riding beyond the property. Individual riders and larger groups are welcome, making the Gulch a unique base camp for a Montana horse getaway.

After Dark, the Gulch Has Another Side

Gunslinger Gulch has also become known for its paranormal history and unexplained activity.

The property has welcomed paranormal investigators and has been featured in paranormal media, including Ghost Town Terror and Spirits with Spirits – Ghost Talk at Gunslinger Gulch Podcast.

Guests interested in the paranormal can experience select investigations and private booking opportunities throughout the year.

We don't manufacture scares or promise what you'll experience, we simply open the doors.
